Hey, I’m David Martins
I’m an editorial wedding photographer with my roots from Lagos, Nigeria, traveling the world telling stories of those madly in love.​​​
I’m a husband to Alicia and dad to Noah. I never planned to become a photographer. Before all this, I was a drummer, and music is still a big part of my life. Falling in love and starting a family changed everything for me. It deepened how I see connection, emotion, and beauty, and it made me a better storyteller.
My journey started in music, but love and family gave me a new perspective on life. Today, I document weddings with heart, artistry, and meaning, creating photographs that don’t just show how a day looked but how it truly felt.

My approach is a blend of editorial direction and honest storytelling. I sometimes pause a moment to frame it in a more artistic, cinematic way, and other times I simply let things unfold naturally. Every client is unique, and I tell each story in a way that reflects the individuality and essence of the couple. It’s simple, relaxed, candid, raw, and authentic. ​

Take a minute to fill out my CONTACT FORM or send an email with your date and location. I’ll confirm availability, share the package options, and once we agree on the details, I’ll send over the contract and invoice. Your date is officially booked as soon as the retainer is paid.
